Pack it as a .jar¶
Sites like CurseForge and Modrinth only accept .jar files, so LuaCord has a free tool that wraps your .lkt into one. Make your plugin a .lkt file first, then open the JAR generator, upload your .lkt, fill in the details, and download the .jar. The generator runs in your browser, so your files never leave your computer.
Besides letting you upload to CurseForge or Modrinth, a .jar shows up in the server's /plugins list, which a plain .lkt doesn't. You use it like any other plugin by putting it in the plugins folder, as long as LuaCord is installed too.
That's the end of Getting Started. Next up are a few small plugins to help you get the hang of it.
